That’s a great question! We have spots reserved for volunteers on our Organizing Committee that typically help with marketing, programming, logistics, technology, etc as well as event-based volunteers that help during the actual week of events exclusively. During the week of, we’ll need volunteers to help manage registration, hospitality, audio/visual, wayfinding, setup/teardown, and other critical roles to help maximize attendee experience!

STL Startup Week would not be possible without the critical volunteer support from the innovation community. Volunteers help oversee all aspects of the production of the week, including marketing, outreach, partner coordination, event management, hospitality, and more. Members of our organizing committee serve one-year terms (and must reapply each year if they’d like to continue in that role) and must fill out an application which is reviewed by the Lead Organizer. The application captures your background, interest in the role, specific skill sets, and relationship with the local entrepreneurship community. Once selected, the members of the organizing committee typically meet every other week (virtually) when actively planning.
